Prayer Spaces In and Around the Campus
Prayer Spaces In and Around the Campus

After sorting out your accommodation and groceries, the next step is to find Where you can pray on campus. If you're on campus there are several prayer rooms:

  1. ANU Musallah (the location is right in the side of Menzies Library)
  2. Coomb building (there is separate rooms for women and men)
  3. The chaplaincy: location is in the heart of ANU where most students spend time,
  4. There is a new multi-faith center being built in the well-being centre, so keep an eye out for any new developments

Although we have only listed dedicated spaces if there is no prayer room near you, you can pray wherever. Find somewhere quiet, such as a study room in the library.

Most importantly, as a Muslim we are one if you need a friend or someone to talk to, give us a call. Otherwise, visit the Mushalla on Campus where we hold special events for muslim and muslimah, islamic lecturers (food provided), and other lectures from muslim countries.

Join our ANUMSA Whatsapp group to keep in touch with all our events and don’t hesitate to ask any questions.

May Allah give His Blessing to us all.
